I am proud to say that I'm a new member and to take my part to serve on the board of the Pipiriki Incorporation.
I'm one of many rangatahi that decends from Pipiriki. And I am also willingly stepping forward to take on-board the responsibilities of being the voice to represent the rangatahi of our upcoming younger generation and of all my fellow community citizens and our wider whanau of Pipiriki.

I have been involved within a variety of community projects such as creating and proposing our community park for our tamariki. Also help recreate and revitalise our old Pipiriki playground which is now also in use for our babies.
Myself and other community members has also taken the opportunity to organised a Pipiriki Christmas event that takes place at the playground for our village and anyone else that wish to be involved and take place in joining us and celebrate the day. It occurs every two years which first started in the year 2020.

I’m also a community rep for Pipiriki with our Community Led Development Team (TCLT) which we have helped complete some pretty awesome things for our people aswell.

I see bright things ahead for our communities future to come. More voices, community involvement activities etc....

I love to include our babies because they are our next generation. Functions like Christmas at the park I believe teaches them Kotahitanga and I strongly feel that’s one of the values our youth needs.
I pledge to continue to work to the best of my ability working alongside the board and I entrust that I do right by our people making them proud of who we are.
